Luca Buratto: Live at Honens 2015
This two-disc album, released on the Honens label, features Luca Buratto’s winning perfomances from the 2015 Honens Piano Competition. The recording includes solo performances of works by Debussy, Ligeti, Prokofiev and Schumann; and works by Brahms, Hindemith, Lutoslawski, Mozart, Obradors and Viardot with collaborators Isabel Bayrakdarian (soprano), James Campbell (clarinet) and Hsin-Yun Huang (viola). Musical America described Buratto as a pianist of “fiery imagination and finesse”.
